About Us The women behind the curtain of The Oz Effect are nationally recognized television producers, Alexandra Bennett Cannady and Jane E. Bloom. These women are on a mission to employ stories, entertainment, and technology to address social issues and enhance existing industries- -making the world a better place one transformative project at a time.

Alexandra Bennett Cannady Alexandra Bennett Cannady was a producer at Nickelodeon for eight years, a managing producer at Disney for three years and an executive producer at Discovery/Animal Planet for eight years. She’s worked on award winning programs, spent many years volunteering with kids, but her most fulfilling production is her seven year old son. Alexandra Bennett Cannady is an unstoppable force of nature whose creativity knows no bounds. She can race a stock car at 125mph, speak to animals, and play a mean game of hoops...in heels. Jane E. Bloom Jane Bloom has won two national Emmy Awards for unscripted, social impact, educational television series. She develops after school programs aimed at empowering kids and communities. Jane has traveled around the globe and believes in making education resources accessible to kids and parents around the world. Jane Bloom is an absolute badass who doesn't believe in labels or being put in a box.
